The Information Resources Management College Decision Room was implemented in 1992 in response to advances in the field of group decision support and the ramp-up of re-engineering efforts in the Department of Defense. Since its inception, several hundred groups have participated in sessions in the room to define problems and propose solutions to those problems. As the first permanent center in DoD, the center has spawned the implementation of dozens of other centers throughout the world. In this photo the University President, LtGen. Ervin Rokke and the Commandants of the colleges make decisions about allocation of funds. Visit Ventana Corporation's Cool Rooms pages to see other centers, many in Defense, including one on the United States Ship Coronado.
