George Washington Cusick (1853-1926) and Anna Elizabeth Lupton Cusick

At different times George and Anna were teachers and farmers. George also did carpentry. The family lived in Rush Run, on the banks of the Ohio River,and also in Dennison, Ohio. While in Dennison, George and Anna operated a variety store. Later (circa 1908) they moved to an 80 acre farm 6 miles from Dennison. Some of the furniture George built remains in the family. Anna wrote a history of Martins Ferry which was used in the schools. Blanche married Robert Fowler. Howard married Leona Clark in 1917. Robert married ??? George and Anna are buried in the xx Cemetery up on the hill overlooking Martins Ferry, Ohio.

The Berrys and Job(e)s were Quakers and prosperous farmers. They belonged
to the Concord, Ohio Meeting (est. 1782). Laura married Theodore Clark
in 1872. Edgar married Anna Dungan. Rachel never married. They are all
buried in the Concord Meeting Cemetery in Colerain, Ohio.

and George (Jr.). Laura and George were twins. Samaria also was born a
twin, to a sister Tacy. Alice married a Walker. George (Jr.) married Amelia
Post and moved to Long Island, N.Y. Theodore married Laura Berry. The other
girls remained single. Except for Theodore and George, the family is buried
in the Hicksite Quaker Cemetery in Emerson, Ohio at the intersection of
Jefferson County Rt 5 and State Route 150. The George Clark farm is directly
across the street from the meeting house and cemetery.
